Explorer Program Workshop
 
NASA is holding an Explorer Program Workshop (including a Potential Bidders Conference) on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Residence Inn Capitol Marriott, 333 E Street SW Washington D.C 20024. The purpose is to provide an overview of the Draft Explorer 2010 Announcement of Opportunity (AO) and the Draft Explorer 2010 Missions of Opportunity (MO) Stand-ALone Missions of Opportunity Notice (SALMON) Program Element Appendix (PEA) and to address any questions. The information most pertinent to the Explorer 2010 AO will be discussed during the morning and early afternoon while the information most relevant to the Explorer 2010 MO PEA will be discussed in the afternoon (agenda below).
 
All interested parties may attend. All expenses and arrangements for attending this meeting are the responsibility of the attendees. Note that travel and associated costs of attendance are not allowable as direct costs under another Federal Government award, e.g., a contract, grant, or cooperative agreement. Government employees may attend and be authorized travel and associated costs as a matter of official business.
 
Questions should be sent to the Explorer Program Acquisition Scientist, as designated below. NASA personnel will address questions that have been received no later than five working days prior to the conference. Questions submitted after this date may be addressed at the conference as time permits and as appropriate answers can be generated. Presentations made at the conference, including answers to questions, will be posted on this Explorer Acquisition Homepage after the event. Additional questions and answers subsequent to the conference will also appear in this location, if necessary. It is expected that all questions and answers will be posted on the Explorer Acquisition Homepage.
 
Comments should be directed to the Explorer Program Acquisition Scientist, as designated below, by July 16, 2010. Comments are preferred in writing and may be sent by E-mail.
